I hope you're enjoying looking at any or all of the daily pictures I've posted since moving to New York City 500 days ago; I have certainly enjoyed sharing them with you.
I wish I could share with you more aspects of my experience here, like the way the cold winter wind chills your bones, the fear of being lost in an unknown jungle, the pride of conquering an unthinkable challenge, or the warmth of the busy city awakening on the first day of spring. Unfortunately, not everything can be shared through the lens of a camera, and although I've had a blast on this adventure from behind the viewfinder, I'm ready to step back from the screen and fully enjoy the sounds, smells, and overwhelming roller coaster of emotions that are a dominant part of my experience.
This is not the end of my posts by any means, as I know I won't be able to keep from sharing any beauty I do capture.
I find comfort in the knowledge that I may no longer be able to flip through my footsteps in pictures, but instead I will be able to forever share my adventures through stories of my experience.
Thank you for sharing it with me.
